Making Cookies

We did it! We made the following Christmas cookies:
sugar cookies - decorated with icing
peanutbutter blossoms
russian tea balls
peanut brittle
and of course, peppernuts. (Thanks mom for sending anise oil. Thanks Katey for bringing cookie cutters.)
We used all the powdered sugar in town. (Only one of the 4 stores had it. And they only had two bags. Not a popular item.)

Since people here do NOT bake and do NOT make Christmas cookies, we decided to give sample plates to our friends. We ended up giving away 20 plates of cookies. Had a few left over for ourselves. 'Tis the season.
