Workers

Did I mention that there have been quite a number of home improvement moments around here lately? Martin and Mike made a cement counter top, painted the kitchen shelves, and built some incredible stone steps. Katey mixed cement, made new wire handles for our kitchen cabinet, made a macromae (sp?) plant hanger, and came up with many new ideas. She also helped in the garden and hung out with the kids a lot. Liz painted the interior dry latrine walls with dirt from Zacango. It glows! The roof and door are on the dry latrine. Today (Saturday, Jan 5th, 2008) Martin is finishing installing the floor tile of our indoor bathroom (which we basically only shower in now that the dry latrine is done.)They boys were in and out of all the work projects.
